Meet Zelda!

Zelda is a petite, 30-pound lady who is sure to stay on the smaller side. Don't let her size fool you – she's ready for mile-long hikes and bike rides! Zelda has been at our behavior facility for a few weeks and has been doing exceptionally well. She was previously adopted but returned due to a resource guarding incident with another dog, which we've been diligently working on. Zelda is a quintessential Heeler puppy: incredibly smart, driven, and a little stubborn. Her recall is pretty great, coming back about 80% of the time.

Ideal Home

Zelda needs an experienced and active home. Given her past, she would do best as the only dog in the household to ensure her greatest chance of success, even though she loves other dogs!

Ongoing Health

Zelda is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

While Zelda has excellent recall, additional longline training is definitely recommended once she settles into her new home.
