Sawyer

Sawyer is a clown who adores females! He is very athletic and energetic, and loves to play with anyone willing, including other dogs in our program. While his play can be vigorous and fast, he responds well to correction from other dogs. He enjoys chasing birds and could be a dock jumping champion with some training! With sufficient outdoor exercise, Sawyer is calm and well-mannered indoors.

Ideal Home

We're looking for a home with a yard that is fully enclosed with a tall fence (at least 6') to keep Sawyer safe and allow him the vigorous outdoor exercise he needs. Due to his play energy and determination to "catch" what he chases, we will not be considering homes with cats, other small animals, or young children.

Training & Support

Sawyer is very smart and has learned his cues well, including sit, down, stay, wait for food and at doors, give, leave it, and go to your spot. He is house and crate trained. He enjoys "working" and being challenged with mental and physical games. Sawyer has a cardboard fetish, so all cardboard will need to be removed from his environment. He is respectful of belongings in the room.
