Roscoe

Roscoe is a handsome and energetic Pit Bull Mix, estimated to be around 7 months old and weighing 35 lbs. He was found as a stray by Clayton County Animal Control and, after receiving treatment for malnutrition, kennel cough, and pneumonia, he's now healthy and ready to find his loving forever home! Roscoe is a silly and funny guy who loves to cuddle and shower his humans with affection. He's very food motivated, which makes training a breeze, and he thoroughly enjoys puzzle toys that challenge his brain. When he's not napping or snuggling, Roscoe loves to play and would be the perfect adventure buddy for hikes or daily walks. He also has a blast chasing balls and toys, though he enjoys "destroying" them even more!

Roscoe would thrive in an active home with a family that loves to play. He would be a great companion for hikes and daily walks, and he enjoys chasing balls and toys. He would likely be too much for younger children due to his high energy.

Ongoing Health

Roscoe is up to date on his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is on heartworm preventatives.

Training & Support

Roscoe is house-trained with minimal accidents and is also crate-trained. However, he can exhibit crate aggression towards other dogs. He walks well on a leash with "leash pressure" corrections and is currently working on commands such as "sit," "place," "off," and "down," as well as general manners.
