PEDRO

Pedro arrived at the shelter with significant wounds over his entire body, possibly from being hit by a car, and has been healing with us. He has made a great recovery, but he's a loyal, smart, attentive, confident, social, and gentle boy who is eager to continue his healing journey in a loving foster home. Pedro enjoys being pet, especially on his back where he can get itchy as he heals. He's affectionate and constantly checks in for pets and attention, and he loves to play fetch. He walks well on a leash, doesn't pull, and stays right beside you, always responsive and eager to please. Pedro takes corrections well and is happy to "sit" and "spin." He also has a blast playing in the water!

Ongoing Health

Pedro still has some discomfort from an ear infection and wound healing, so his foster should be careful with his ears and take him for regular checkups. He still has a slight limp as he heals from his injuries.

Training & Support

Pedro is smart and eager to please, taking corrections well. He enjoys being close to his people and follows them like a shadow.
