About Kirby

Kirby is an 11-week-old, 16 lb male German Shepherd/Retriever mix with big, adorable eyes! He was found wandering the streets, scared and alone, but a kind family took him in and he's now thriving in a foster home. He's made a big dog his best friend and also gets along with the cats in the house, leaving them to their own devices. Kirby enjoys playing with kids and has learned to ring a bell to let his foster family know when he needs to go outside – he's doing great with potty training! He's also comfortable sleeping and eating in his crate and loves to play with toys. Kirby is looking for a home with a canine playmate and mentor, and an active family that will take him on adventures. His ears are still deciding their final style, but one thing is for sure – he's ready to love his new family unconditionally! Kirby is not yet neutered but will be prior to transport.

Ideal Home

Kirby would love a home with a resident dog to be his playmate and mentor. An active family that will take him on regular walks and adventures would be a perfect fit.

Ongoing Health

Kirby will be neutered prior to transport and will have received all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) and a microchip.

Training & Support

Kirby is doing very well with potty training and has learned to use a bell to signal when he needs to go outside. He is also comfortable in his crate for sleeping and eating.
