Buttons is a sweet 4-year-old Hound mix with a gentle and easygoing personality. She arrived at the shelter underweight but is now gaining strength and feeling much better! Buttons is a mellow girl who enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like short walks, napping in sunny spots, and being close to her favorite people. She walks nicely on a leash and is very treat-motivated, making her an easy and delightful companion.

Buttons would be a perfect fit for someone seeking a calm and steady presence in their life. She would thrive in a quieter home, perhaps with an older couple, or anyone who simply desires a loving dog to share their space with.

Ongoing Health

Buttons came to us underweight but is steadily gaining and feeling much better. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Buttons is treat-motivated and walks nicely on a leash. She is also house-trained.
