Hazel is a 10-month-old brown-eyed beauty who has been overlooked time and time again. She arrived at our rescue in November 2025 with her siblings, who were adopted quickly, but Hazel remained behind. She is a super sweet and gentle girl who loves to be by your side and be your shadow. Hazel gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small, and is currently being fostered in a sanctuary near the Texas/Mexico border. This sanctuary is a temporary housing situation while we find loving forever homes for our animals. Hazel is house and crate trained and would do great with children! Her foster parent stresses just how sweet she is, and at only 30 lbs, she's a tiny, full-grown pup. Hazel has met cats and is not bothered by them. One of Hazel's favorite things is water! If you're looking for a dog to join you on adventures like hiking, going to the ocean, or anywhere involving water play, Hazel is your girl. She's obsessed with water, even a small bucket will do! Ideal Home
Hazel would thrive in a home that can appreciate her sweet and gentle nature. She loves other dogs and is also kid-friendly. Her love for water means an active household that enjoys outdoor adventures, especially near water, would be ideal!
Ongoing Health
Hazel is spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and dewormer. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Hazel is house and crate trained.

Hazel is currently located in Texas. Transport is available to the Central US and the East Coast every 2-3 weeks to the following locations:
