Howdy! Texas here.

I'm a handsome Shepherd mix with a shorter coat, soulful eyes, and the expression of a dog who's seen things – mostly squirrels! I'm friendly, affectionate, and carry myself with the confidence of a dog who believes every visitor arrived specifically to see me. I'm playful but not unhinged, smart without being smug, and loyal in that quiet, steady way Shepherd mixes tend to be.

I'd love a family who wants a true companion – somebody to ride shotgun on adventures, patrol the backyard for invisible dangers, and dramatically sigh beside you after a long day. I have enough personality to keep life interesting but not so much that you'll end up on a "dog ate my couch" support group. I'm more of a "let's hang out together" kind of guy than a "let's destroy drywall" kind of guy. I feel like the kind of dog who should already belong to somebody, settling into your life so naturally you forget there was ever a time I wasn't there.
