Mochi

Mochi is a 1-year-old male Chihuahua mix, weighing about 7 pounds. He's playful and snuggly, though a little cautious when meeting new people and dogs – but he warms up quickly! Mochi sleeps in his crate but would much prefer to be snuggled up with his humans. He's about 80% potty trained, using pee pads indoors and is learning to go outside exclusively. He picked up using the dog door in just a few days and is a very quick and curious learner. He gets along well with other dogs, understanding social cues and playing nicely. Mochi walks well on a leash and loves pack walks! He doesn't bark excessively, but may vocalize in response to unfamiliar noises. As a puppy, he enjoys chewing, so redirecting him to appropriate toys when he tries to chew on something he shouldn't is helpful. He doesn't seem to suffer from separation anxiety, and enjoys following his humans around the house.

Ideal Home

Mochi would do well in a household with other small dogs, and adults or older children. He is unlikely to thrive with small children due to his slightly timid nature.
