Beau's past wasn't easy; he spent much of his life chained, but his spirit remains unbroken. Now, he's eager to trade confinement for freedom, fresh air, and the thrill of following his nose. Give Beau a yard, and he'll happily explore, perhaps even embark on a few "important excavation projects," all while investigating every scent. He's content to lounge in the grass, surveying his surroundings. While he gets along with other dogs, he's more of a sniffer than a sprinter, preferring to solve canine mysteries at his own pace. On walks, his nose can sometimes lead the way, causing him to pull a bit when an intriguing scent trail appears, but it's all part of his investigative process. Once his daily investigations are complete, Beau transforms into a professional couch snuggler, happy to relax beside his favorite people. He has a keen sense for treats, so be prepared for him to find them! Due to his past, Beau can be a little protective of his food and high-value treats, doing best when he has his own quiet space to enjoy his snacks. With a little understanding and management, he's a devoted companion and expert cuddle buddy.
