Maverick is a charming Shepherd mix, just over a year old, with a gentle soul and a playful spirit. He’s still very much a puppy at heart, eager to learn and always ready for fun. Once he feels comfortable, Maverick transforms into a loyal shadow, believing he’s a lap dog who loves to be by your side. He's great with cats, showing them respect, calmness, and friendliness.

Ideal Home

Maverick would thrive in a quieter home where someone is present for most of the day. He would do best without young children, as fast movements can make him anxious, but a home with teenagers would be perfectly suitable. He also needs another playful, non-dominant dog to be his best friend and help boost his confidence. A secure 5'-6' fenced yard is a must. Maverick cannot be adopted into a home with an underground electronic fence system and will not be allowed to be tied, tethered, chained, or secured on a tie-out.

Ongoing Health

Maverick is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Because he's still a puppy, Maverick needs to be kenneled when unsupervised as he has a fondness for socks and harmless mischief.
