Gideon (GA)

Gideon is a 10-year-old, neutered male Shih Tzu mix with a heart of gold and a personality to match! Rescued in Georgia, Gideon is a charming senior who lives life on his own terms. He's a bit of a grump, but don't let that fool you – he has a lot of love to give to the right person. Gideon enjoys a good back rub, but be mindful of his space, as he'll let you know if you hit a wrong spot! He's good with people who understand and respect his boundaries, and he also gets along well with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Gideon would thrive in a home with experienced owners who understand "snarky" dogs and can appreciate his independent spirit. He'd prefer a home without cats, as they aren't his cup of tea. If there are children in the home, they should be older and capable of respecting Gideon's personal space.
