Mona

Mona is a beautiful 2-year-old Mountain Cur mix with a heart full of love to give! She found herself looking for a new beginning through no fault of her own when her previous owner faced difficult times. Now, Mona is blossoming and discovering her true, playful spirit. She's a sweet, smart, and active girl who enjoys the company of other dogs. Mona is an energetic goofball who has a special fondness for her squeaky toys – they're her absolute favorite! Volunteers have found her to be wonderfully independent, enjoying affection but also content with her own adventures. She walks well on a leash, loves to explore with her nose, and did a great job accompanying volunteers to a restaurant, showing good listening skills when asked to settle. We've promised Mona the best rest of her life, and we hope you can make that promise a reality for her!

Ideal Home

Mona would love a home where she can continue to explore her playful and curious nature. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive in a home that understands her need for both affection and independence.

Mona has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mona is working on her greetings with new people and dogs, but she's a smart girl and eager to please, so with continued guidance, she'll master it!

Transportation

Mona is currently located in New Jersey. We transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet.
