Zac

Zac is a handsome 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs about 60 pounds. He came to us from a county shelter, rescued just in time! Zac is a loyal companion who enjoys a good balance of playtime and relaxation. He's already undergone FHO surgery for a previous leg injury, and he's fully healed with no further medical needs or medications. Zac is house-trained, crate-trained, and loves to be near his people. He's also a bit of a conversationalist, especially when dinner is running late! He enjoys toys and treats and has shown no signs of resource guarding.

Ideal Home

Zac thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he won't be left alone for long periods. He enjoys having other dogs around or people nearby. While he hasn't lived with young children, his foster believes he would do well with a family willing to help him learn not to jump up when excited.

Ongoing Health

Zac has fully recovered from FHO surgery and requires no ongoing medical care or medication.

Training & Support

Zac is house-trained and crate-trained. He may need continued guidance on not jumping up when excited, especially around new people.
