Bailey

Bailey is a sweet and spunky senior who was found sheltering from extreme weather in an alley in Detroit. Now that she's back inside where she belongs, Bailey has made her love of mealtime known and doesn't let her arthritis stop her from doing a super cute "dinner dance" while her food is being prepared. She is loveable and laid back, and the perfect size to be picked up and carried when she gets tired! While not a super demanding dog, she will let you know if she wants to be petted and will happily accept hugs and pats. She also enjoys food puzzles and sleeping half on and half off her bed!

Ideal Home

Bailey would do well in a home that can accommodate her senior needs and potentially her arthritis. She enjoys being picked up when she gets tired, so a home that can easily do so would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Bailey has advanced arthritis and associated challenges with mobility. She is currently taking Galliprant for pain and inflammation, and also gets a daily joint supplement. Bailey tries very hard to be housetrained, but as an older dog, accidents can happen. She will need understanding and a supply of potty pads on hand for when she just can't wait!

Training & Support

Bailey is working on her housetraining, and while she tries her best, accidents may occur. Patience and understanding are key.
