Cassie

Cassie is a sweet girl who has overcome a lot to get where she is today. She came from a home with many other dogs where she had limited human interaction and lived in less than ideal conditions. Because of her past, Cassie can be a bit timid when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but she's learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. She's gained confidence at the shelter and even did wonderfully as a house guest during a recent foster period! Cassie is house-trained, quiet, calm, and well-mannered indoors. She did experience some upheaval while in her foster home, including a move and the loss of her canine companion, which were difficult for her. Having grown up with many dogs, Cassie would likely do best in a home with another confident dog who can help her feel secure and continue building her confidence. She's also learning to walk on a leash and is making great progress! With patience, understanding, a calm environment, and a dog friend, Cassie is sure to blossom into a happy and loyal companion.
