Some dogs come into rescue with heartbreaking stories, and Maxine is one of them. This beautiful girl was found tied to a fence at a park alongside her mom, abandoned and left behind. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan refused to look the other way and brought them both to safety. After a week in foster care, Maxine entered professional training to help prepare her for the next chapter of her life. Now she's ready. Ready for a family who will never leave her behind. Ready for a couch to call her own. Ready for a lifetime of love. Maxine is a 4-year-old, approximately 50-pound Blue Brindle American Bully who has done everything we've asked of her. She has worked hard, trusted again, and opened her heart despite being abandoned. Now all she needs is someone willing to open theirs. Imagine coming home to a loyal best friend who greets you with a wagging tail, joins you on adventures, and then happily stretches out in a sunny spot nearby. That's Maxine.
