Spice

Spice is a delightful, energetic girl who is approximately 3 years old. She arrived at the shelter with her litter of five puppies and was lovingly fostered in a home environment while she raised them. Spice is good with people she knows well and shows them great affection. However, she can be a bit protective of her loved ones. This high-energy pup enjoys long walks with our volunteers and loves car rides, making her a great companion for adventures. She does need some continued obedience training, as she can be a bit jumpy and loves to run!

Ideal Home

Spice would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and continued training. Due to her protective nature and tendency to jump, a home without young children or other pets might be the best fit for her to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.

Ongoing Health

Spice is up-to-date on her heartworm and flea/tick prevention, administered on the 18th of every month. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Spice needs some continued obedience training to help manage her exuberance. She can be jumpy and loves to run, so positive reinforcement methods will be key to helping her learn to channel that energy appropriately. Consistency and engaging activities will set her up for success.
