Diego

Diego is such a good boy and deserves a home so much. He's been in foster care for almost his entire life and has been waiting so long for a family. He is a 2-year-old, medium-sized, brown and black Pit Bull Terrier mix.

Ideal Home

Diego would do best in a home with a confident, no-nonsense older dog who can show him the ropes and keep him in line. He absolutely adores his foster pal Maggie, who he visits with, and respects her corrections. If introduced to the wrong dog, his rambunctious play style can lead to altercations, as he doesn't always understand when other dogs are getting overwhelmed. Alternatively, a home with no other dogs would also be a great fit for Diego. He does well on controlled walks with other dogs, showing he can manage in group settings.

Training & Support

Diego is still learning to read other dogs' cues. He has a very enthusiastic, "rough and tumble" play style that can be misinterpreted by other dogs. With the right canine role model or in a home without other dogs, he is sure to continue to learn and blossom.
