Otis

Otis is an estimated 4-year-old handsome husky mix looking for his new forever home! He was part of a hoarding case where approximately 30 husky mixes lived together in Holland, Michigan. Sadly, his owner passed away and, due to declining health, struggled to rehome the puppies when they were born. Despite the circumstances, Otis and the other dogs are very sweet, well-mannered, and well-behaved. They are crate-trained, know basic commands, and understand potty training, though accidents can happen in a new environment. Otis's adoption fee has been sponsored, so there is no cost to adopt him!

Ideal Home

Otis is good with other dogs and would do well in a home with female dogs. He is also good with children. However, he is not recommended for a home with cats, as he is likely to chase them.

Ongoing Health

Otis developed a deep, raspy cough due to poor ventilation in his previous home. While it has been improving substantially with proper care, it can still appear when he gets excited. We believe his lungs will fully recover over time. He has been fixed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and is on preventatives.

Training & Support

Otis is already crate-trained, knows basic commands, and understands potty training. Continued consistency in a new home will help him thrive.
