Koda is a loving and affectionate dog who believes there's always room for him, whether it's on the couch, a bed, or snuggled up in the middle of his favorite people. He's estimated to be around 1 year and 2 months old and weighs about 53 pounds. While he looks like a Pittie mix, his exact breed and age are a best guess as he is a rescue. Koda is a happy-hearted boy who is equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle bug, always ready for a park day, car ride, or a cozy evening with his family.
Ideal Home
Koda would thrive in a home that appreciates his enthusiasm for life. His foster believes he would absolutely love a home with a fenced yard for zooming, though he has proven to be a wonderful house dog and can live successfully in an apartment. He would do best with confident, dog-savvy feline friends rather than kittens, and would be happiest with a tolerant, playful dog who doesn't mind reminding him about personal space.
Ongoing Health
Koda is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been tested and treated for heartworm if needed. He has a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Koda is house trained and crate trained and is comfortable spending the workday quietly in his crate. He is continuing to practice his leash skills and is working on his excitement while out and about, as he can pull a bit due to his enthusiasm for fun. Continued guidance and training will help him become the best version of himself.
