Meet Bubba, a brave survivor with a heart full of love and a spirit that has overcome unimaginable odds! Rescued from a gas station construction site in a heartbreaking condition, Bubba was found starved, badly injured, and shot in the face. Despite his traumatic past, he greeted our team with a wagging tail and an open heart. Bubba underwent life-saving surgeries and received excellent medical care, finally enjoying the delicious meals he deserved. He also experienced the love and nurturing of foster care, along with specialized behavioral training to prepare him for a life as a beloved companion. Today, Bubba is a shining example of courage and resilience – a loving and buoyant dog ready for adoption. Bubba is approximately six or seven years old, weighs a robust 60 pounds, and is often described as a teddy bear. He is neutered and currently undergoing heartworm treatment, with ongoing assistance from us. His trainers have found him to be a sweet soul with a zest for life who loves people, other dogs, and TOYS. He happily entertains himself and is always ready for snuggles. He is calm and quiet in the house and loves his crate.
Ideal Home
Bubba's favorite pastimes involve basking in the sunshine and snuggling on the couch with his humans. He has a heart full of love that just needs the right person to help him share it.
Ongoing Health
Bubba is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, and we will continue to assist with his treatment.
Training & Support
Bubba has been learning the ropes of what it means to be a beloved companion with the help of our specialized trainers. He is a sweet soul with a zest for life, loves people and other dogs, and enjoys toys. He happily entertains himself and is always down for snuggling. He is calm and quiet in the house and loves his crate.
