Truffles BW

Meet Truffles, a gorgeous, friendly, and athletic gal with magnificent "bat signal" ears! When she's not receiving transmissions, her giant ears crisscross atop her head, a truly unique sight. Truffles loves long walks on her leash, zooming around, playing with balls and stuffies, and enjoying a good game of tug-of-war. Of course, she also loves to cuddle! She's intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please, making her an ideal companion for an active family or individual.

Ideal Home

Truffles is ideal for an active family or individual. She loves kids, but may be too boisterous for very little ones.

Ongoing Health

Truffles was born with a genetic condition called megaesophagus. This requires a bit of extra time and special steps at meal times. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position for 15-20 minutes after each meal. She is quite food motivated and eagerly gets into her chair. She cannot have treats. You might notice a "bullfrog-like" movement in her throat when she is sleeping due to her enlarged esophagus, but this is nothing to worry about.

Training & Support

Truffles is leash-trained and house-trained. The key to her success is her special mealtime routine.
