Kona

Kona is a sweet, 4-year-old mix, possibly a Boxador or Pit mix, who is patiently waiting for his forever home! He's a big boy at 80 pounds and loves to relax with a good bone or chase tennis balls, though you'll want to keep an eye on those balls as he's known to chew them up! When Kona first arrived, he had a lot to learn, but with the love and patience of his foster family, he's become best friends with all the dogs in the house and has learned that sharing is caring. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he's incredibly affectionate and eager to be your best friend. Kona startles easily, so he'd prefer a home without very young children.

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced-in yard would be ideal for Kona, as it will give him a safe space to explore and feel secure, especially if he gets startled. Because he startles easily, we are suggesting a home without super young children.

Ongoing Health

Kona is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots.

Training & Support

Kona is house-trained and kennel-trained. He has learned to share his toys and gets along well with other dogs. He can be shy and easily startled initially, but with patience and understanding, he blossoms into a loving companion.
