NALA!

Nala is a sweet and incredibly special 9-month-old German Shepherd mix who was rescued after being surrendered to a kill shelter due to a medical condition. She was born with Megaesophagus, which means after she eats, she needs to sit upright for about 30 minutes for her food to properly digest. We affectionately call this her "snuggle time," and she enjoys this quiet one-on-one with her human, often falling asleep. Despite this, Nala is a happy, active puppy who loves playing with her siblings and is super friendly with everyone she meets, including other dogs, children, and all humans. She adores cuddling and playing with toys, and has a low to medium energy level. Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and house trained.

Nala would thrive in a home where her owners understand and can accommodate her feeding routine. Her low to medium energy and friendly disposition make her a wonderful companion for families.

Ongoing Health

Nala was born with Megaesophagus and requires a 30-minute upright feeding period after each meal. This is a managed condition and she has been successfully following this routine since she was five weeks old.

Training & Support

Nala is already fully house trained and is generally a well-behaved puppy. Her primary needs revolve around her feeding routine, which is affectionately referred to as "snuggle time."
