Gerald is a senior gentleman who has spent his entire life in a dog pen—lonely, overlooked, and without the comfort every dog deserves. He came to us during the recent ice storm, and while his past may have been difficult, we’re determined to give him the loving future he’s always deserved. Gerald is in his golden years, but he still has so much love to give. What he needs now is a quiet, patient home where he can finally experience what it means to be cherished. Because he’s never had to interact with other dogs, Gerald would do best as the only pet in the home—where he can soak up all the attention and affection. He doesn’t need much—just a soft place to rest, kind hands, and a family willing to give him the peaceful, pampered life he’s been missing.

Ongoing Health

Gerald is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and received a ProHeart 12 Injection. His senior wellness exam with bloodwork showed all levels within normal limits.

Training & Support

Gerald has no known bad behaviors, but he is new to living outside of a dog pen. He will need patience as he learns what it means to be a cherished companion.
