About Hewey

Hewey is a sweet, older gentleman who arrived at Red Dog after being airlifted from the Ashville Humane Society due to hurricane Helen. He's incredibly lovable, though he does need a few minutes to warm up to new people. Hewey is currently working on his social skills with both dogs and cats. We also believe he may have a slight hearing impairment, which we're monitoring. Come follow along as we learn more about this wonderful guy!
