Jess can be a bit shy initially, but with a safe environment and understanding, she truly blossoms. Her confidence has grown immensely since her rescue, and it's been a joy to see her flourish. Once she warms up, she reveals her playful, affectionate, and lively personality. She enjoys playtime, gets along well with other dogs, and loves being involved. Jess is also incredibly sweet with her people and readily offers affection once trust is established. She's crate trained, has a quick recall, knows "sit," and is highly treat-motivated, making her a pleasure to train and continue developing her skills. We believe Jess is a mix of Pit Bull Terrier, Cattle Dog, and Labrador, embodying intelligence, loyalty, and a playful spirit. She was rescued from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and has worked hard in foster care to build her confidence and thrive. Now, she's ready to find a forever home where she can continue to shine.
