Blu is a sweet, goofy senior dog brimming with love and charm, searching for a forever family with a big heart for older companions. He's a gentle soul, happily oblivious to his challenges, and brings endless joy and smiles with his silly, loveable nature. Blu absolutely LOVES walks; he hops and tap dances when he knows it's time to go! He also enjoys car rides and greeting new people, having been a fan favorite on "go to work with dad" days. He would enjoy the company of another slow-moving, older dog. Blu isn't for everyone; he needs a family who truly understands and loves seniors. But if you're that person, you'll find the most loyal, funny, and heartwarming companion in this wonderful old man.

Ideal Home

Blu would thrive in a home that can accommodate his needs due to arthritis and muscle loss in his back legs. This includes having traction rugs or mats and avoiding stairs. He may need a step to get on furniture, and sometimes chooses the floor over the couch. He would also enjoy the company of another slow, older dog.

Ongoing Health

Blu has arthritis and muscle loss in his back legs, and is about 90% deaf.

Training & Support

Blu is house-trained. He may need assistance with navigating furniture due to his leg strength.
