Penny Bun Mushroom is approximately seven months old and is a total sweetheart! We suspect she may be a Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix, but with rescue puppies, it's always a bit of a guess. Whatever her mix, she's clearly made of sugar, sunshine, and an abundance of stuffed animal love.
This affectionate girl is a natural check-in artist on walks, already showing impressive leash manners for her age. She trots alongside you with an attentive, loving gaze, making you feel like you've found your perfect companion. Her favorite pastime? Cuddling with stuffed toys! She doesn't destroy them, but cherishes them like emotional support companions, proudly parading them around the house with a happy wiggle.
Penny Bun is a social butterfly with other dogs, showing respect and politeness. She enjoys play but knows when to take a break, showing excellent recovery skills. She even coexisted calmly with a cat during her interactions, though a slow introduction is always recommended. She's also gentle and sweet with children, with a calm demeanor indoors that could make her a good fit for an apartment with enough enrichment. She's playful without being overwhelming, cuddly without being clingy, and social without being chaotic – truly a well-balanced puppy with a soft, happy energy that's impossible to resist.

Ongoing Health
Penny Bun is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has also received a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Penny Bun has been working on crate training, potty training, and leash walking. She is confident and well-rounded, with individualized behavior plans created by our on-site trainers.

Transporation
Penny Bun is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
