Meet Smokey!
Smokey is a 2-year-old, 53-pound Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix who came to us as a stray. He's fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and is ready to shower his forever family with love and affection! Smokey is a truly sweet and kind-hearted boy who loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch and relax. He's a smart and quick learner, and his foster mom says he's a total couch potato who's more than happy to hang out and relax with you all day! He enjoys playing with other dogs and loves a good game of chase.
Ideal Home
Smokey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and would prefer a home without cats. Due to his shyness with new people, he would do best in a low-traffic environment. He would also love a home with another doggie companion, as he enjoys playing with other pups. Smokey would be best suited for someone with a house, not an apartment, and ideally someone who works from home or is only away for a few hours a day.

Smokey is a healthy boy and has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Smokey is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. He can be a little nervous and bark out of excitement when meeting strangers, but he is easily redirected. He does get excited at the beginning of walks and may pull slightly, but he settles down quickly and walks calmly. Smokey is not a huge fan of crates and prefers not to be shut in one, though he will use it to rest. He does experience some separation anxiety and will cry for a bit when left alone, but he does stop and doesn't tear up anything.
