Banjo is a charming 2–3-year-old Cattle Dog mix, weighing in at a compact 34.5 lbs. He's a truly special boy whose journey began when he was found wandering near San Antonio, initially timid but with a heart full of love to give. Through patient guidance from our trainers, Banjo has blossomed into a social and affectionate companion who forms deep bonds with those who show him kindness. He absolutely adores his people and thrives on affection!

Ideal Home

Banjo is a high-energy, playful pup who would be happiest in a home with a yard where he can run, explore, and expend his energy. He's eager to please and enjoys learning new things. While he's doing well with potty training and house manners, he also benefits from structure and routine, and is improving with crate training. Banjo can do well with other active dogs around his size, or he would also be content as the sole canine companion if he receives plenty of attention and activity. Due to his past and his deep devotion to his person, Banjo would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands sensitive, working-breed personalities. He loves to be included in all your adventures and activities!

Banjo is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Banjo is working on his crate training and benefits from structure and routine. He is also improving with house manners and potty training with human guidance.
