Meet Cecelia! If you've ever looked at a little dog and thought, "I can fix her worries with snacks and love," Cecelia may be your girl. At 4-5 years old and about 22 pounds, Cecelia is a petite sweetheart with adorable ears, soulful eyes, and enough personality to keep life interesting. Now, full disclosure: Cecelia is an anxious girl. New things can be scary for her, and when she's frightened, she has an impressively dramatic, ear-piercing bark that could probably be heard from the next zip code. But underneath all that nervous energy is a very cute dog who just wants to feel safe. Cecelia has been keeping her kennel clean, but she'll still need patience as she adjusts to a new environment and routine. The best things in life aren't always the loudest, bravest, or most confident. Sometimes they're the little dogs hiding behind those big eyes, hoping someone will see past the fear and give them a chance. Cecelia isn't looking for a perfect home. She's looking for a peaceful one.

Ideal Home

Cecelia would do best in a calm, quiet, adult-only household. She needs a family willing to give her time to settle in and a home with other friendly dogs. She is absolutely terrified of cats.
