Meet Brody, a delightful 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix who’s ready to bring his blend of playful energy and affectionate charm into your life! Brody is the perfect companion for those who appreciate a dog that can enjoy both outdoor adventures and cozy nights in. He’s a true goofball who loves to play, cuddle, and even dress up for special occasions with his favorite people.
Ideal Home
Brody would thrive in a home with a secure backyard where he can enjoy some off-leash zoomies. He has done best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and is happy to be your one-and-only pup as long as he has space to play. Due to his playful energy and size, a home with older, dog-savvy children (ages 8-10+) who understand respectful interaction with dogs is recommended. Brody is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Brody is a healthy boy. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Brody is house-trained and crate-trained, doing wonderfully in his crate when left alone. He walks calmly on a loose leash and is eager to please, thriving with structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. While he’s made great progress, he may still get a little excited around assertive male dogs. With calm guidance and continued positive experiences, he’s shown he can adapt well. He would benefit from a family experienced with intelligent breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls, and would enjoy activities like scent work, agility, or basic obedience classes to keep his mind engaged.

Transportation
Brody is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. He is available for transport out of state once his forever family is approved.
