There's Something Truly Special About Red Rover

Red Rover is a handsome fellow who is approximately 5 years old. He's the perfect blend of maturity and fun. At first, Red may seem a little reserved and likes to take a moment to observe and assess his surroundings. But with a gentle voice, a little patience, and a kind heart, he transforms into a loving, playful, and loyal companion. Once Red trusts you, he loves with his whole heart and will become your shadow and best friend. He is house-trained, wonderful on a leash, and settles beautifully in his kennel, though he'd much rather be curled up on a comfy bed. Toys, chew bones, leisurely walks, and snuggling with his favorite humans are some of his greatest joys.

Ideal Home

Red is looking for a home filled with patience, understanding, and love. He currently lives successfully with two small dogs and one larger dog. Because of his past experiences, he can sometimes be unsure around dogs his own size or larger and may be dog-selective. With proper introductions, guidance, and supervision, he has shown great progress. Around smaller dogs, he occasionally forgets just how big he is, so continued supervision and gentle reminders help set him up for success.
