Panda is a shy but sweet two-year-old, 50-pound Pittie mix with a mellow nature, lovingly named for his black and white coat. He enjoys chewing on toys, his daily walks, and cherishes routine and structure. Panda is the epitome of a rescue dog, offering deep bonds, unconditional love, and endless gratitude to his forever family. He's a professional passenger and loves to snuggle, often inching closer on the couch until he's right beside you. Panda is kennel-trained and house-trained, making him a well-behaved companion.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He is looking for a home with another dog, as he gains confidence from canine companionship and enjoys playful dogs. He does not do well with cats. He was previously fostered in a home with children aged 5 and up and did well, but any children in the home should be respectful and sweet towards him.
Ongoing Health
Panda has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning, and patience is key to his heart. He is great on leash and bonds with his people through walks. He will need a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and foster mom will be available to provide insight and advice during this time.
