Button is approximately 9 months old and is looking for his forever home! He's a professional snuggler, a gentle kiss distributor, a squeaky toy enthusiast, and an emotional support sidekick who is convinced that every person was invented to love him. Button is the definition of soft-hearted sweetness in an adorable puppy package. He's confident, affectionate, and quickly forms strong bonds with people. He approaches new humans with an enthusiastic "Hi! Are you my best friend now?" and loves to be close to his person. His floppy ears are a notable feature, bouncing with every step!
Ideal Home
Button would thrive in a home that can provide him with continued socialization, structure, playtime, and love. He doesn't need to be the center of attention but wants to be included in family activities, ideally with a stuffed toy in his mouth. He would do well in apartments as long as his needs for activity and affection are met. He would likely do best with friendly and easygoing canine companions who are not overly pushy, as he is a bit more of a gentle observer and can be submissive. He also interacted sweetly with children and met cats respectfully, but slow introductions with dog-savvy cats are recommended. A confident, reassuring family that helps him continue building confidence as he grows would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Button is a healthy puppy. All vetting is up-to-date, including DAPP vaccines with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also had a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Button has shown calm acceptance of new environments and experiences, including loud noises and busy surroundings. When unsure, he tends to "pancake" or freeze briefly rather than react aggressively, and he is easily reassured and redirected. He showed excellent tolerance during handling and allowed touching of his paws, ears, face, and body without concern. He never barked during his time with us. He enjoys squeaky toys.

Transporation
Button is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
