Meet Valerie! This sweet girl is a medium-sized adult female Hound mix who is looking for a patient family to help her continue building confidence. Valerie is learning that people can be kind and that the world isn't such a scary place. While she's still working on trusting new people and getting comfortable walking on a leash, she is making wonderful progress every day. With patience, understanding, and lots of love, Valerie is sure to blossom into an amazing companion. Watching her gain confidence and come out of her shell has been incredibly rewarding, and she's ready for someone who will continue cheering her on every step of the way.
