Thea

Meet Thea! Thea is a gentle and sensitive girl who can sometimes find new environments a little overwhelming, especially the shelter kennel with its constant noise. She is very social with people and appreciates a slow, patient approach. Watching Thea begin to relax and gain confidence is truly sweet. As she opens up, we're discovering her playful side – she loves to chase tennis balls, sniffs the play yards inquisitively, and accepts pets and attention affectionately.

Ideal Home

Thea would do best with a family who can spend plenty of time bonding with her and helping her get her energy out in positive ways.

Ongoing Health

Thea is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Thea walks well on leash but still needs some reminders to stop pulling. She knows her "sit" command and is eager to show it off for treats! We strongly encourage her adopters to complete a full two-week shutdown period with her, followed by slow and gradual introductions to any resident pets, as she has not shown negative reactions to other dogs in our care.
