Donnie

Donnie is a smart, affectionate boy who is always ready for his next adventure. Whether he's exploring the world around him or soaking up attention from his favorite people, Donnie approaches life with enthusiasm and a happy-go-lucky attitude. This handsome guy already knows sit, down, and shake, and he loves showing off his skills. One of Donnie's favorite things in the world is a good butt scratch – he gets so excited that he'll break out into an adorable little tap dance! When he's not busy showing off his dance moves, he's happy to hand out plenty of kisses and soak up all the affection he can get. Donnie comes from the Ironwood State Prison Dog Foster Program. This unique program provides meaningful connections between dogs and incarcerated men while helping prepare dogs for successful adoption. During his time in the program, Donnie practiced important skills such as leash walking, crate training, and good household manners, helping him become the wonderful companion he is today. If you're looking for a loving, intelligent dog who enjoys adventures, cuddles, and plenty of butt scratches, Donnie may be the perfect match for you!

Training & Support

Donnie is a well-behaved boy who has been crate trained and is a good walker on a leash. He knows basic commands like "sit," "down," and "shake." He is also very food motivated, which will be a great asset in any further training.
