I'm Gizmo 2, a 5-year-old Lab mix and the ultimate cuddle companion with a heart full of love to give! I'm a mellow, affectionate pup who thrives on snuggles, belly rubs, and just being by your side. Whether I'm sunbathing, snoozing on the couch, or greeting you with a tail wag and my signature tummy tax, I'm happiest when I'm soaking up attention. While I'm mostly a laid-back guy, I do enjoy a good adventure - car rides for pup cups, casual hikes, and even trips to the beach (though I'm still figuring out those waves!). Plus, if you've got food, especially peanut butter, I'm all ears! I've mastered potty and crate training, and I'm walking great on a leash. I am very good at telling you if I need to go potty, so you don't have to worry about accidents! My favorite things? Eating, sleeping, sunbathing, snacking, and of course, getting snuggles and tummy rubs! I'm pretty unbothered by loud noises and handle grooming like a champ.
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a loving mellow home where I can be my snugly, laid-back self with a human who enjoys constant companionship as much as I do. I'd love someone who's around often to keep me company, but I am also fine staying on my own when necessary. I'd do best as the only pup or with a calm, assertive dog that will help me learn boundaries. I am great with respectful kids.
Ongoing Health
Gizmo has skin allergies and is taking Apoquel (~$93.00 for a month's supply; price will vary on market value and depends on where purchased). He also requires twice-monthly medicated baths with MiconaHex + Triz Shampoo (~$25 for a bottle).
Training & Support
I've mastered potty and crate training, and I'm walking great on a leash. I am very good at telling you if I need to go potty, so you don't have to worry about accidents! I am not destructive when left alone, so a crate is not needed.
