Freya is a female dog who came to us with fractures of metacarpal bones 2, 3, and 4. These injuries are painful and affect the use of her paw, requiring specialized orthopedic management, close monitoring, and supportive care beyond what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Proper stabilization and follow-up are important to promote healing and preserve long-term comfort and function.

Despite her injury, Freya remains gentle and is doing her best while receiving supportive care.

Freya needs a safe, compassionate place where she can receive continued medical attention and supportive care necessary for healing and recovery.
