Liesel

Liesel is a gorgeous foxhound with beautiful eyes and a sweet and playful personality. She is 1-2 years old, about 45 pounds, and good with cats, dogs, and children. She's also smart: she sits, lays down, stays, and politely but eagerly waits for her meals. Liesel can be quite a silly and independent girl. She enjoys getting in the car and traveling with her humans wherever they go. Liesel would love to be your best friend, greet you at the door, take adventures together, and curl up on the couch afterwards. She enjoys chin and tummy rubs. If you're looking for an energetic canine companion or walking/running buddy, Liesel is your girl!

Ideal Home

Liesel's ideal home would provide her with plenty of exercise, preferably in the great outdoors. A fenced yard would be a plus, but her true love is nature and going for walks.

Ongoing Health

Liesel came from a shelter in NC where she was in poor condition with buckshot in her tail, which had to be removed. She is doing wonderfully without her tail, and this just adds to her sweet personality.

Training & Support

Liesel is very food-driven, so you can get her to do most anything once she realizes you are a source of treats. She walks fairly well on a leash but will pull if she sees or smells a deer or fox, true to her breed.
