Paco

Paco is a one-year-old Shepherd/Pit mix who came to us as a stray. He may put on a tough act at the rescue, but underneath he's a bit of a scaredy-cat. We don't know much about his past, but it's clear he hasn't always experienced kindness. New faces make him nervous, and the shelter environment can be overwhelming, so you might see his kennel-reactive side before you meet the real Paco. The real Paco is a young dog who just needs someone to give him time to decompress, time to learn that people can be kind, and time to realize he's safe. Once Paco trusts you, he'll be a loyal best friend ready to leave his past behind.

Paco would thrive in a patient home that understands shy dogs and is willing to let him settle in at his own pace.
