Andrea

This 10-month-old, 42-pound mixed-breed beauty is full of personality, love, and puppy energy! Andrea came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about her past, but we do know she's a sweet, social girl who enjoys meeting new people and soaking up attention. She's spayed and ready to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Andrea would likely do best as the only pet in the home. She has not done well with female dogs during playgroups or introductions and has a strong prey drive, making a home with cats or other small animals unsuitable.

Ongoing Health

All animals adopted from us will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment.

Training & Support

Andrea is still very much a puppy and will benefit from continued training and structure as she grows. She has shown possessive behaviors around food and high-value items and may be food aggressive, so she will need an adopter who understands resource guarding and can provide appropriate management and training.

• We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome!
• While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals.
• We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
