Bertha

Bertha is a 1-year-old Bulldog/Sharpei mix with a heart full of love to give! She's spent the last 7 months being pampered by her foster family, enjoying cuddles, toys, and a life of luxury. Bertha is a true people-dog, and while she's made friends with humans of all ages, she's looking for a home where she can be the only canine companion to receive all the attention, treats, and kisses.

Ideal Home

Bertha would thrive in a home where she can be the star of the show. She loves humans, but is a strong dog and can be a bit mouthy when she plays, so older, dog-savvy children would be the best fit. She is not cat-tested, but it is recommended she be the only animal in the home.

Training & Support

Bertha is crate trained and loves to play with her toys or relax in her crate. She is also a big fan of flirt poles and will chase one until she's happily exhausted! She trains very well with treats. While outside on her leash, she can be a bit hypervigilant, and her foster family is muzzle training her for walks when other dogs are around.

• The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (if over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (if over 6 months), deworming, flea and tick prevention, and microchip.
• A vet reference and two personal references are required.
• All adoption processes must be followed to qualify.
