Valentina was born on January 14, 2026, in a foster home after her mom was rescued while pregnant and recovering from being hit by a car. She was the first of four siblings to enter the world, and from day one, she has shown just how special she is. Valentina is a sweet, intelligent, and thoughtful medium-sized dog. She likes to take her time getting comfortable with new people and situations, but once she feels safe, she becomes the most loving companion you could ask for. She is the kind of dog who follows you around the house, lies beside you while you work or relax, and simply enjoys being near her person. She loves belly rubs, playing with her siblings, and keeping an eye on everything happening around her. She also has a protective side and will always let you know when something catches her attention.

Ideal Home

Valentina would thrive in a calm and stable home environment. She needs people with previous dog experience and no young children or cats. Friendly, well-balanced dogs are welcome. She would preferably have a house with space where she can feel comfortable and secure. Small families or individuals who enjoy a quieter lifestyle would be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Valentina is currently healthy. She weighs 10 kgs.

Training & Support

Valentina is potty trained with access to the yard. She is currently working on leash training. She is sensitive and needs a family that understands her nature, respects her space, and gives her the chance to become the loyal companion she is meant to be.

Transportation

Valentina is located near Bucerias, Mexico. She can be transported to the US and Canada. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during summer months, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.
