Foster to adopt! Joey is a sweet boy looking for a temporary home where he can thrive. He's eager to learn and grow with a loving family.

Ideal Home

Joey would do best in a home within 80 miles of Adams, NY. He needs a home with existing pets (including cats) that are up-to-date on their vet care. He's done well with like-sized dogs in his foster home in KY, but we are unsure how he'll do with children or cats. A fenced yard is preferred, but not required if you can commit to leash walking or tethering. Your family members and any current dogs in the home will need to meet Joey before adoption.

Ongoing Health

Joey has had his initial vet check, is current on vaccines, and flea/tick preventative. He has tested negative for heartworm and has been neutered. We ask that you continue his vet care at our vet office in Adams, NY, until the adoption is finalized. After adoption, establishing care with your own veterinarian is recommended.

Training & Support

As Joey is a new arrival, he will need socialization and training to help him settle in. Having time available to dedicate to his care, socialization, and training is essential for his success.
