Darby

Darby is a shy, young, medium-sized male hound mix. He came to us as a stray with his sister, after a rough start in life that included a battle with mange, which has since been treated. Darby has made significant progress, but he is still a sensitive soul who would do best in a calm and loving home where he'll be given plenty of time and patience to adjust and feel safe. He has shown that he is most comfortable around women and would do best in a home with women, with any men being introduced slowly and carefully.

Ideal Home

Darby needs a patient and understanding home that will give him the space he needs to come out of his shell. He would thrive in a quiet environment. He would do best in a home with women and needs any men to be introduced slowly and with care.

Ongoing Health

Darby was treated for mange and is now healthy. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Darby is a shy boy and will need continued patience and positive reinforcement as he settles into his new home. He may benefit from gentle introductions to new people and experiences.
