Morticia

Meet Morticia (ACCT-A-253669)! This social and wiggly girl is ready to find her forever home. Morticia arrived at the shelter as a stray with her friend Gomez, and she has been winning over everyone she meets with her happy-go-lucky personality and affectionate nature.

When you stop by her kennel, you'll likely be greeted by a very "wiggly" body and soft, friendly eyes. Morticia is a total sweetheart who loves people and isn't shy about showing it! She is easy to leash and enjoys her time outside, often checking in with her handler to make sure you're both having a great time.

This playful girl is full of life and loves to engage with her human friends. She's known for her adorable playbows and her enthusiasm for life. While she can sometimes get a little over-excited and mouthy when she's having a lot of fun, she is a smart cookie and is very easy to redirect with some tasty treats. She's a social butterfly who is looking for a family that will appreciate her goofy spirit and give her all the love she deserves. Behavioral Notes 06/27/2026 per staff behavioral eval: Kennel Presentation: At the front of the kennel with soft eyes, ears to the side and loose/wiggly body.

Leash Skills: Easy to leash and came right out of the crate. Minimally pulled on the leash. Would check In with handler. Mid tail up loose and wagging, soft eyes and ears to the side.

Sociability: Allowed all handling. However being overstimulated and started to jump up on me and bite at the leash. Easy to redirect with food and continued to walk.

Play: n.a

Dog Interaction: Met tator-tot. Tail down, hackles raised and stiff body. Will need another dog meet.

Return to Kennel: Went right into kennel and I removed leash with hand.

Color Level: Exp Gold

06/22/2026 per staff: Was found running at large with Gomez(A253668) and is likely bonded with him. Very sweet and wiggly girl! Allowed all handling and was very playful, doing playbows and jumping up at me. Pulls moderately on leash. Hesitant to enter crate. Would benefit from getting out in playgroup with Gomez.
